The picturesque island town of Lockeport is joined to the mainland by Crescent Beach and its causeway. It is renowned for its fine white sand beaches and friendly people. With a population of around 700, the community is rarely busy except during its major festivals - Canada Day Celebrations which run from June 24th to July 1st and include Ellen Page's favorite event called the "Grease Pole" , a concert in the park and fireworks ; The Harmony Bazaar - Festival of Women and Song held on July 24th to 26th and the Sea Derby held from August 7th to 9th.

Summer openings are very scarce but we are now renting a three bedroom guest house just around the corner from our cottages and about 100 yards from the beach. Call 656-3200 for information, pictures and availability. We do have an opening at the Cottages beginning on August 30th for those of you planning to travel late in the summer.
Short Openings Available: August 29th, 30th & 31st and August 30th to September 3rd.

UPCOMING FESTIVALS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
Lockeport plays host to a number of festivals and events throughout the year, both big and small. Bookmark this page for more info about upcoming activities.
Lockeport Canada Day Celebrations will run from June 24th to July 1st with activities for all ages including live music concerts, watersports and fire works to conclude the celebration.
The organizing committee of the Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women and Song is pleased to announce that Rita MacNeil and Melanie Doane will be performing at the 2009 Festival on July 24th and 25th.
