The picturesque island town of Lockeport is joined to the mainland by Crescent Beach and its causeway. It is renowned for its fine white sand beaches and friendly people. With a population of around 700, the community is rarely busy except during its major festivals - Canada Day Celebrations which run from late June to July 1st and include Ellen Page's favorite event called the "Grease Pole" , a concert in the park and fireworks ; The Harmony Bazaar - Festival of Women and Song held on July 25th to 27th and the Sea Derby held from August 8th to 10th.

Summer availability: Interested in spending a day or two at the beach this summer? We have a number of short openings including the following dates:
In August we have a two day opening on the 27th and 28th.
September has a couple short openings from the 1st to the 4th and 1st to 6th, as well as longer periods throughout the month.
Please email inquiries for other periods as we frequently have cancellations throughout the summer.

17th Annual Lockeport Sea Derby
Friday August 8th to Sunday August 10th
Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Crescent Beach Centre
